Happy easter!

He is risen indeed!!! Photography by Tobi.P

Easter is that time of the year when we get to think about life, suffering and death. This is the right time to take a break and dig down into our inner selves and ask ourselves what is our purpose in life? What do we live for?

Why were we placed exactly there where we are today? What difference does our being alive today make? If we were to die today, what will we leave behind? Will your space on this planet earth would have been a waste? Are you worthy being alive?

My preacher today....oh no, i notice that it's past midnight....

Yesterday, my preacher told us a very touching story during easter sunday service.

"Some soldiers were out on a battlefield. One soldier under surveillance covert saw his solder-mate walking down the road with no knowledge whatsoever that he was about to step on a mine.

He decided to warn his college by showing himself from the covert and calling out to him. He heard and did not step on the mine thus having his life saved. Unfortunately the solder who showed himself from his covert was consequently spotted by the enemies and was shot, dying instantly.

After years had passed, while back home at a memorial ceremony with the wife and the little son of the dead solder, the college who had been saved approched the child.

" I´m so sorry for your loss, your father was a great man" he said to the kid. "He offered his life for me" he added.

The little boy, devastated and tears running down his cheeks like a river looked at the man and said:

"Sir, tell me one thing..., were you worth it?"

Many people had made easter plans, sommer holidays were already booked, wedding dates already set,  hair dressing appointments fixed...etc but they did not get the opportunity to see today, but we did!

I want we ask ourselves one thing:

Are we worth of today?

Happy Easter everyone.

Let us live today to the fullest because death is not our last enemy, Jesus conquered the crave!

Lot of luv
