Did anyone watch the 10 (Die Zehn) yesterday on RTL? Sonja Zietlow was counting down another episode of the ten. Yesterday it was about the ten greatest losers who came out really big. If you watched you might have had your jaw dropped all the way like i had. The most striking story for me was the Thai girl who was born without legs. Oh yes, you read that right. She was born without legs. Her body ends at the hips.
Can you imagine, living without your legs? Climbing stairs, getting into the bus, sitting on the loo, driving...everyday duties must be almost impossible to accomplish. One would assume that this girl must be so miserable, but wait till you hear her story...
Now 23 years old, Kanya Kesser was born in Thailand. Her parents abandoned the legless baby in front of a Buddhist temple. The monks took care of her till she was adopted by an American couple from Portland, Oregon at the age of 5 years. She lives a normal childhood and has interests in so many things like any other kid does. Her favorite hobby; sports.
Her motto: No legs, no limit!
She excels in everything that she undertakes. Surfing, skiing, skating...to name a few. She does not let her being different be an obstacle. Instead, she deploys her differences to be her strength.
She grows up and blooms into a beautiful woman, only difference is that her lower limbs are missing.

What does such a woman do for a living, you ask?
She is a model. To be more precise, she makes a living with underwear modelling. How amazing is that! right?
This woman is so inspiring i couldn't, but write about her today.
How often do we invent excuses to not do something? Remember the day you quite sports because you thought that you are not good enough? You wanted to apply for a job but you thought you are not qualified enough? You wanted to start that beauty channel or blog, but you thought you are not pretty enough? Kanya would have had a million of those excuses ready, but she chose not to use any of them.
So next time when you are finding yourself some excuse;
Think again!
You have your both arms, your both legs, your eyes, ears, a voice and sound mind. What the hell is holding you back?
If Kanya can, you can!!! Go for it...
